I hate you:

Missing image
I hate you, CAT , I hate you,
I hate all of your kind.
I hate the way you purrr,
I even hate your mind.

I hate the way my little girl,
gave my bed away.
And put me in your basket,
then said for me to  STAY.

But she’ll walk away and forget,
then I’ll make my attack.
And a lot of  cat fur will fly,
and I’ll get MY basket back.

    I came to read doolie"s and come upon yours too . So funny you can picture the pup thinking these very words. I love these contests that bring out laughter from people who can write this way. thank you for the laugh.

    I just have to being by saying, "I love the picture!"
    Why is it in most households, the cat is always the proper one with the most power? Then again, who cares? Dogs are SOOOOOOOO much better anyways!

    I like the insight you protray; I.E. his plans to get his basket back. Over all, one of the more enjoyable poems I've read in quite awhile. Another masterpeice on your behalf! :-)

    That is so funny. Yep, it would be just like a dig to plan some sort of revenge. They certainly don't like their beds taken by cats. Great write, great flow and rhythm. You were fantastic! Thank you so much for entering.
