The light of day, sometimes gets in my way to see.
The sights all around, what is it I a am looking to see?
I have tripped over things placed here and there, is it me?
How is it I have to drive around so much, it gets to me.
What is it that makes this where others come?
The sunlight gives a reflection of the beauty in the land.
With the vision of the valley and the water so calm,
The natural cascade of the falls to give peace to those who come.
The other little nestled beauty spots stashed here and there.
Gives one a chance to know God' had a plan.
Are we so busy in life that we miss the love He laid all around.
Do we feel we could have done better, where is your plans?
Why not stop and take a break, shut your mouth and mind.
Open your eyes and ears, are you afraid you may shed a tear.
After all it is mine and guess what it is your to enjoy--

Sometimes We get in the Way of Self
Very good, the message of stop, get still, and hear the Lord; for only He delivers Truth not that of man.
You might want to edit this lovely piece for extra words; and, the last two lines don't really seem to fit the gist of the message, so you might want to reconsider those lines or delete them altogether.
Nevertheless, you have done well and reveal raw talent. Best wishes in the contest.
Much love in Christ, BonnieQ

So true!
I work 11-7 full time, and squeeze my ministries in, shed those tears, felt I drive around too much, I loved the quick stops visualized, I often focus to drive to such spots real quick to get back in the scheme of things. Awesome...blessings.
