    Took me a few reads before anything happened. I love the bizzare fact you acknowledged the peeling paint as being a cliche...yet that sort of makes it not a cliche any more, love it. I also like the last four lines. The first read I read it as a sentance, and I was left confused. Second time I didn't, and they each became individual pseudo-sentances. That is where I got a pungent pang of forgotteness. Fantastic.
