Forever she’d been searching
For the unattainable dream
Often mentioned as a folklore
Not real it would seem
To her that didn’t really matter
It’s the search that was the charm
And the possibilities of what if
Raises all kinds of alarms
To find the elusive pot of gold
At the preverbal rainbows end
Would be an amazing achievement
More than the world could comprehend
Some really thought she was disturbed
A most peculiar fanciful little girl
But it didn’t matter to her at all
For she was the queen of her little world
All that changed in a wink of an eye
A new purpose in life came with no surprise
Puberty stnuck in and she discovered boys
Now her rainbows are first love and all that implies

I really like your take on the word prompt. I am glad you entered it. I really like how you refer to her as the queen of her little world lol. Most little girls really think that! I enjoyed the ending part of this as well.
