Book of life with roses pressed
beauty upon the thorn.
Crimson red of lips caressed,
clinging vine each morn.

Upon pages bold, life is written,
remains throughout time.
Words of romance, lovers smitten,
amid verses in rhyme.

    For some reason this poem just really jumped out at me..maybe it was because it was so delicate sounding..I'm not sure. However, I loved it and I thank you for entering it. Congrats on your gold!
