She was the Ice Queen,
Born on shores so far away.
As she aged,
Beauty took her over,
Consuming her entire being.
From those sparkling eyes in between,
Her ashen face so gray,
To a Prince, she became engaged,
From the land of the Green Clovers.
Where the Gods stopped seeing.
As her cursed beauty would atest to,
Many suitors had she.
Men came from far away,
Just to see her legendary face.
But fate would have her heart.
Her eyes, such an unfathomable blue,
Men would not let her be.
So, one cold December day,
She left her green place,
From the Prince, she did part.
To the Prince, she could never be true.
Her heart would not allow her to see,
Her life would forever be in disarray.
All because of her beautiful face.
She took a white steed away,
Riding him for three days or more.
Looking to the gray sky above,
With her eyes as striking as a knife
She would not conform to royal duty.
Now, as legends will say,
The Ice Queen lives on a frigid shore,
Lusting for love,
A love that she can never have in this life.
All because of her legendary beauty.
