A pondering on the soul

I see you
          I feel you
Beating within my own chest
          my own heart

You are there
in the dark corners of my mind
and the crevases of my flesh

You are there
as I soar through the skies
Riding on a high
which emerged from the very root of my essence

You are in my dreams
              Like an old friend
Or a relentless enemy
              You stick like glue
To my psyche

Or am I stuck to you?
Drawn like a moth to a flame
Or like a warrior is drawn to battle?

The stillness of the water,
                Reflects like a mirror,
and ripples back the knowledge
                That neither you nor I
Exist

This is based on images recieved during mediation. Unexpressable, but I tried.

I plan to revise this poem: please leave constructive criticism!

    Yes.
But it will always be a part of you,
Something that you may fall back on.
And something to remind you that
Try as you may, you will NEVER be alone.
Trust the inner-voice, for it knows you far better than the conscious mind.
Much love, m'dear. Take care. -J
