Shimmering Glimmers Of Faith

Visions from my window's pane.

Glistening blanket fill of white,

Shed in palemoon's wintry reign.

luminescence in chilled blight.

Untouched, untrod feathered spill,

Pledged to earth, shimmering down.

coveting Spring's daffodils,

In hushed slumber, under ground.

Not unlike a bride's trousseau,

Her veil  floating on sheer faith.

That love outlast depths unknown,

And her love shall not forsake.

    That last stanza Suseann is stunning; especially this;
    "Not unlike a bride's trousseau,"
    your meter is outstanding as well, this is a perfect example of how to do rhyme. Very beautiful work.

    "And her love shall not forsake."
    This line echoes the whole poem, it is wonderful in all its tranquil beauty, love the imagery, and cadence of the lines. It sort of sings in melancholey, with a touch of bliss. Very enchanting my friend!

      Thank you Tirrell. . I'm a bit confused by the fact,not one of my female favs has read this or commented. It's basically metaphor of snowfall and it's purity when untrod. That is beautiful to see,if you don't have to contend with trudging out into it in slippery bitter cold.
