Acquaintances come and go
Friends are forever
Family is there in name
Friends are there in bond
Friends are forever
When you want to relive your childhood
Family say “grow up”
Friends say “lets play”
When you make a mistake
Family frowns
Friends forgive
Friends are forever
When you are down, friends pick you up
When you sad, friends make you smile
When you are in denial, friends show the truth
When you feel like running, friends run with you
Friends are forever
Friends are there through storms
Friends are honest with you
Friends are your family
Friends are ‘Forever’

I recently lost a good friend. It has traumatized me. This poem is just to help me deal with it and move on.
