I considered my smallness as small
But apparently not so at all
There are smaller bits around about
So small they give no kind of shout
They are. scientists suggest, bits of quants.
I would not like to say that to my aunts,
Whose knowledge of physics comes down
To buying "quark" med'cines in town.

I just watched a special about quarks ... the scientist took a hammer to something and showed how the larger pieces landed near the main object and the smaller flew out far away and the smaller they were the farther they were until finally they seemed to disappear although really there ... hmmm. Like me ... rarely noticed although there.
