But A Symbol

White resembles the purity
sustained in ones heart
A rose resembles love
given freely, wholly
bound by eternity
we strive to attain both
The pure love of another
striving to be perfect
in their eyes, we are
souls unite, becoming one
love everlasting, eternity
showing our appreciation
a white rose, is but a symbol
of my undying love, pure
for you. . .

    Beautiful and heartwarming. Some form of "white rose" has been in my screen names for years; only recently have I been able to wean my way away from it, lol.
