Precious Yet fragile
A soul within mine
A child not yet formed
More sweet than red wine
Precious yet fragile
This small speck within me
Not yet speaking
Not yet able to see
Precious yet fragile
My child unborn
Protected within my created womb
With my love I will soon adorn
Precious yet fragile
Time coming to and end
Soon you will feel all the love that is real
All the smiles and laughter to you I will send
Precious yet fragile
I am able to hold you at last
Your eyes are now closed
You are finally born at last
Precious yet fragile
Your crib you now fill
May you be forever at peace
My child that now lays still
Precious yet fragile
My child may you sleep
I had prayed that you would come
But now in God's hands may happiness you reap
You were precious yet fragile
You passed in my womb
But know that in Heaven
I will see you so very soon

Beautifully written, crafted excellently, this piece is exceptional, I wish i could award trophies to everyone, but this would defeat the purpose of a contest, just know, i loved it! Regardless of outcome...unless you get a trophy
