fabric
like an ocean
in frenzy
flooding the dance floor
Author notes
I sort of took it as a ball like a dance, where everyone was wearing blue. Like an endless ocean where everyone was out at sea.

Great imagery and creativity...love the feel of being in a ballroom where everything is flowing so soft and smoothly...
brillant work!
Congrat's on the trophy.

centering works here like a skirt spreading out
this is fluid indeed. the wording is hard to get out of when the charming context is revealed betweeen "fabric..."flooding the dance floor" with the refreshing flowing group effect as gappable participation is difficult through that large body of water simulated. which then does highlight party worries of too big of tide or beat per se.
but it can be steadier than just our sweat, since comparison has ultimate guiding promise...

Oooo! I can see bolts of fabric, or swatches, or *whatever* spinning in weaves around a ballroom. So very beautiful.

it's always wonderful to see how people take one prompt so many different ways, I like the "fabric" idea, nicely penned
