More soldiers in coffins
Sent home from Afghanistan
More blood red poppies
From Helmand province
Drugs on the streets
The dealers in governance
Happy New Year
From the West to the East
Exporting their messages
By missionaries and priests
Reciprocal measures
From the martyrs of death
Who tape bombs to children
To silence the deaf
Mr Mugabe says thanks
For this forthcoming new year
He looks to China and Russia
As he instigates fear
His death squads are out
Activists to actively pursue
Happy New Year
To the cholera free few
The Democratic Republic
The Congo greets this New Year
Women from rapists
Will have no need to fear
Fear has evaporated
When you’ve been battered and used
You just feel despair
Feeling totally confused
Waiting without hope
For the next time to be taken
When your internal organs
Are battered and shaken
Happy New Year
From India to Pakistan
We wish you all the best
Peace to every Imam
Mumbai is recovering
Until it takes its next hit
Then the nuclear reactors
Might blow millions to bits
Good news in the city
Stocks have bottomed out
The market found its bottom
There can’t be another rout
Things can’t get worst
They can only improve
And who needs a home
When you can’t afford a roof
Happy New Year
To those made redundant
Sitting watching widescreen
Is no longer repugnant
Have a good time
Watching daytime TV
More programmes this year
For the jobless to see
Happy New Year

We descend all into hell

Painful Write!
Even though what you have written here is harsh and hard to read , without tears in your eye's .Knowing that our Soldiers are being sent over there to die . One by one they go through boot camp, so much pain they are being put through,Where is the ones that can stop this pain? Why do they allow it to continue to go on? Children Fatherless,as well as Motherless the same, I really do not understand all of this in God's Precious Name ! Our Children yet dying as well as the rest is anything ever going to be the same? I say not for they were sent and took and grew up too fast! I just pray Dear God they will last , just a little longer . Safely as they can.To put a little peace back in this world again! These are my words reserverd by me to keep and take as i chose to for a poem I did write.For i got started and could not stop !
