It's simply human nature

The door beckons
To mistakes scattering the frame
Leading towards safety
And the ways we became

So bitter
So bound
Waiting for the moment
We are found

In the deepest intimacy
Without frailty
Then comes the sickening feeling
Of reality

How we reach
For that which we can't see
Asking for forgiveness
And begging to be free

From regret
From bleeding hearts
I ask not to fall
As soon as it starts

Begging the breaks
To bring this to a stop
But one look in your eyes
And my fears drop

There's nothing like understanding
The simple beauty of touch
Something so little
Can mean so much

Has a simple form of expression but somehow extends the attention.
