My Insecurities, My Thoughts,...My Mom.

My insecurities;
Engulf me,
Change me,
Form me,
Never let me go.

My thoughts;
Whisper to me,
Tear me down,
Rip me apart,
Never let me go.

My mom;
Gorgeous,
Funny,
Sweet,
Nice,
Caring,...
I envy her,
with everything in me,
I envy her.

Why can't I be like my mom,
My friends;
They all love her,
They'd rather talk to her,
Talk about her,
Than talk to me...

My mom;
She comes home from work,
Tells me about all the compliments
That she got on her looks that day.

Me;
I come home from school,
If I get any compliments,
It's about my mom's looks,
How hot,
Pretty,
Sexy
She is.

I know it's wrong,
But I wish it was me that my friends talk about,
That it's me they want to talk to,
It's me they want to hang out with...
Not my mom.

My thoughts form into...
"Your mom is better, hotter, nicer, sweeter than you,
Why can't you be more like her,
Why don't your friends like you,
What's wrong with you?"

This forms incescurities...

Which;
Engulf me,
Change me,
Form me,
Never let me go...

Never...let...go...

    Aww, this is so powerful and sad, brings me way down But you know, I dont know your mom, I know YOU and you're the one I like to talk to, talk about, see how you're doing and feeling. You're a beautiful and sweet girl, dont let anyone tell you otherwise, they dont know what they are saying. You're caring and funny, sweet and loving. You do not need to be her, for I know you and I like you the way you are. Be proud of the person I know, because I am proud to know the person you are. She may be nice and pretty, but so are you and you should never let that tear you down. People like me care very much about you and like you as you are and will be, dont change

          ha, yeah i do! its kool to hear stuff like that, from someone who, like you know, i wouldnt really expect it from bc ive only known them for a little bitty while, so i know you truely mean it.....and THAT right there means ALOT.

    This is a very sad poem, it was well written, I went from line to line and never lost interest. But you should never feel that you aren't good enough. You are who you are and that person is worthy of admiration. Good Job
