As Dark As Power Lines Against The Sun

He remembers.

There, but understated.
Like soft stains of tears on the last page
as the words drip mournfully from the edge:
The memories
of the end
of the fairy tale

And oh,
he remembers the way the stars fell that night
He remembers the sound of nothing in the air
He remembers the funeral without a body
And all the flowers
and all the flowers
and all the

Rain
There should have been rain
The sun was wrong to show its face on such a black day.

It cast the longest shadows he'd ever seen.

Author notes

I wrote this forever and a day ago, and revised only a couple of lines because I was too lazy to try and figure out how to rewrite the others.
It's about a roleplay/story I'm collab-ing with crazed-neko313 and the end is more foreshadowing than anything else.

Yeah it sucks. Whaddaya want from me?
