I am looking forward to brighter days,
prosperous and joyous reunions.
Hoping to shed some light on the darkness,
that this past year has so generously provided.
I am looking forward to spending more time,
with all of my family and friends.
I want to show them that they mean so much,
more than they could ever know to me.
I am keeping my heart open to love,
and hope to find someone to share my life with.
Someone that will love and appreciate me,
for who I am deep inside.
This year I will take many trips,
both alone and with my family beside me.
We all plan to go to different countries,
on plane rides and exotic cruises.
I am going to finally get myself published,
and become who I always dreamed I'd be.
A well known writer with a collection of books,
ready to be advertised and sold.
2008 was a very trying and difficult one,
for every member of my family and I.
We all struggled everyday to find a way,
to make things better for us all.
We relocated at least six times this year,
and found so many problems and loop holes.
We're hoping to solve them and eventually,
fill in those gaps and start fresh.
One positive thing that this year brought us,
was many new members to our family.
I have six new best friends, ten brand new cousins,
and other relatives that I had never met before.
It's a wonderful feeling to know that,
somewhere out there you have other family.
It's just a matter of time until you all come together,
and meet for the very first time in your lives.
Two out of my four younger brothers and our sister,
are all soon to graduate from college.
Our other two brothers are on their way,
to different universities across the country.
I am very proud of them and know,
that they will all do very well in their future.
I look forward to seeing them graduate,
and move on with their lives.
I am hoping that the year 2009 will be brighter,
and provide much needed happiness for us all.
