taking no prisoners
sacrifices are made
sweet innocence cries out for mercy
dreams are broken and forgotten
Fear takes over everyone and everything
hearts, minds, the entire body

That's an interesting interpretation of "Sweet Sacrifice." I definitely liked the theme that you were writing about, and how you used emotion to carry it out. Fear certainly is a war that is relentless...

This is a nice peice. I too, am a fan of Evanescense. And this piece, is very true to many people, it goes further than just the face value of the lyrics and of the words. Fear really does take over people sometimes. I have panic attacks, which is caused by your body thinking it is in a fearful situation, and it creates series side effects and stuff that can really harm someone, so that is what I got out of the poem myself when I read it, but that is just because I had a personal expierence with that sort of thing. But even in relation to the song, it is a wonderful peice as well. Another great write poet, I am impressed.
