This is too cute and funny! My grandfather always said stuff like:
"A friend in need is a friend indeed"
which always made me shake my head. Lol!

The sad reality is...My grandpa actually said that to me... lol I'm just glad it makes people laugh and smile when reading this... Grandpa's always new everything there was to know about pretty much whatever I asked a question about when I was but a little kid...looking back almost every answer they gave me makes me laugh...

He was only looking out for your mom having to wash your undies. LOL My mother said something similiar and my so called macho dad said "Real Men don't, and they don't Wash their hands after going to the bathroom either." I think he was only making her mad but I never asked him to fix me a peanut butter and jelyy sandwich again. lol
