David and Goliath by Caravaggio
If by small, you tower above my gaze,
commit it to an escapade self sown
to comfort the upheaval of your ways,
conceives to understanding them alone.
I ask you if by strength you ascertain,
distinction to the merits of your being,
aware that to the many, they contain
an eagerness for self to not be seeing.
When confidence is thine, the so called win,
has willed the deep discretion to a crawl
how tall you once were high, can I within
be thought as egos stand, to see it all.
If what you see has comforted your fears
then look again - discretion for your tears.
