When I met you,
I thought you were my prince charming.
Well little did I know,
That the I do's changes you forever.
It used to be candles and roses,
cuddling and talking all hours of the night,
Now it is so distant, and gone,
The Prince I once knew has been replaced by you.
I talk, but you don't listen,
I Cry and you don't care,
I Scream to get your attention,
And all I hear is "Yes Dear"
You don't fight back,
We don't kiss and make up.
Fairy tale romances,
They are only made for....
Those who don't say I do!!

I know not many people will admit that marraige makes all the difference in a relationship...lol... Before marraige it seems as if both sides, male and female are more interested in pleasing and comforting the other...after marriage, it is as if it is the end of an enjoyable journey...people fall into the rolls of expectation and responsibility. Instead of enjoying the company, sharing thoughts and dreams, and building mutual dreams...lives get to raveled and tangled into each other that there is no end and no beginning to either person... It's as if neither has an identity of their own anymore outside of matrimony. An excellent write and bes tof wishes...~genielassie~
