“I hate you”
Your words tear through the air
Like a scythe
They cut through my soul
Silver rings
And I do’s
Mean nothing now
At least… in your eyes
The ashes of our love
Fall oh so slowly
In the grey coldness
You look at me with
I beg you,
I plead…
For you to listen
To your heart, if not me
I cannot let this anger
This fury be our demise
You can hate me today…
As long as you love me tomorrow.

The title was supposed to be Hate me Today, Love me Later, but who cares! You took the prompt and ran with it! Such a beautiful piece. I love your pic, too! Thanx so much, for entering my contest. Best of luck to you!
