Trailer park Annie

Trailer park Annie
Had the perfect plan
With three aces
And a wild two in hand

But again her dreams
Of hope were crushed
Cause toothless jack
Had a royal  flush

DAMMIT!!

Can I have a light?

This is really good. I like the way you have given Annie and toothless Jack real life characters that actually can be visualized. So, they sit and wile away the hours playing poker! Great pair...I like them.

    Very nice!

Thanks for the link to it The thing you have going with this is just so brutally honest, but one can't help laughing.

Thank you both very much. I think Annie and her neighbors may become a series. If you want, you can check out the first one Pink Flamingos http://allpoetry.com/poem/4869915
