hypocritical questions/answers.

You lived your whole life
trapped in some sort of bubble.
Perfection couldn't keep you from
falling from starlight's grace.
Yet some how I wanted you
to be the person you always wished to be.
Because like all of the other hopeless romantics
I fall in love with the thought of you,
rather than with you.

So when you told me you loved me,
was it because I waited for you to change,
or the ideal that you could change?
Or do you love me because of just that.
I sticked with you through all the hardships
rainy seasons, thunder showers, and busted bubbles.
But even with the struggles, the storms subsided.
Your eyes melted the icing off of my cold heart
my touch cooled the red of your cheeks, just one touch...
from the get go, things were rough.
However, as always, I never lefted your side.
So it's simple as that, do you love me or not?

Because even if you could,

I can't even answer you right back

even if I wanted too, darling.
