Little moth, little moth, come into the light,
it's pulling you in, taking away all your power;
you can't hide your lust; for it shines too bright,
it's taking over all senses and starting to overpower.
Little moth, little moth, come into the light,
it shines like the sun, to light up the night,
just come a little bit closer, you're almost here,
no harm will come to you, there's no need to fear.
Little moth, little moth, come into the light,
be hypnotized by it as you sit on the ledge,
the addiction moves you closer to the edge,
there's a questioning feeling, yet you don't fright.
Little moth, little moth, come into the light,
your arm stretches out to touch the glowing tower,
as you are shocked to death the purpose of the light is clear
the power of addictions is one all must acknowledge.
it's pulling you in, taking away all your power;
you can't hide your lust; for it shines too bright,
it's taking over all senses and starting to overpower.
Author notes
abab aacc adda abcd
the moth is a person and the bug zapper lamo is an addiction [[to anything]] but they keep thinking in their head, "i can stop at anytime, it wont hurt me, blah blah, blah." the addiction could be anything, drugs, drinking, a person, anything. and in the long run, it ended up hurting the person more than it would have just to quit.
