in zero light

There is this place, can you feel
the coldness
and in it are frights galore,
In a corner or in some abyss
is it my fear I abhore?

The silence is deafening my ear
and I tremble
my heart skips a beat, hesitates
and I shake and I shudder
but I know it it's way way too late.

It surrounds me, like a mist
and I scream
knowing well that I can't do anything
but little do I realize
it's all in my mind..... a dream.

So in my brain, I care to entertain
these feelings
of blackness and night,
the loathing I'm feeling
in the presence of zero light.

I can't say I'm crazy about the rhyme here, but the fact that you used it at all means something. I defenitely like what your saying here, and love the idea in a poem that the horrible thing happening is nothing but a dream. Good job.
