No matter how hard I tried to be happy
There was always an empty part of me
And it grew as time went on
This Year
I've lost everyone I love
And it broke my heart more than I realised
I've lost myself
To the point I don't recognise myself in the mirror
And I'm starting next year
Completely alone

Usually I write a long poem for end of year.. but this is all i have to say about it. I'm glad its over.

I like this poem a lot... I usually write one at the end of each year, this year however i had nothing ot say. maybe 2008 was universally a bad year for everyone. Anyway, great write.
