One lifetime here is all we're given
So many things we want to do
Enthusiasm for life and all it offers
Never losing sight of all it's view.
Every year brings us closer
We are nearer to the door
Of the door closing that never opens
Death is final, here on earth's shore.
But with every day we live it
Begin it believing in your dreams
Then every day will be a wonder
Achieving more than ordinary things!
For our visit, God's designing
We were meant to bring the change
Of our giving and our learning
This earth's world to rearrange.
For life for sure is what we make it
It's is good to be alive!
Finding answers in our problems
God surely knows for what we strive!
As surely as we don our garments
Getting up at dawn of day
May it be said we had a dream,
Achieving, believing, come what may!
When and if that time comes may it be said..."We died with our accomplishments and dreams"...and may they be fufilled in our lifetime...For to dream is to live!
