A quagga who was querulous
Made quite a quiverful of fuss
When he was told to quit quinine
By Quanika, the quirky queen
He booked a quinquereme to sail
To far Quebec, to quote his tale
He thought, 'twould be a quid pro quo
But quicksand quelled him quickly, so
He quenched his pride. In quarantine
He penned a quarto to the queen
With quill and ink he wrote quatrains
But Quanika dismissed his pains.
And quickly ordered he should be
In exile, far across the sea
"And on my quincentenary,"
Said she,"You may return to me!"

Excellent! Had to drag out the dusty dictionary for this one. Marvelous vocabulary and use of alliteration. Thank you for entering.

Excellent
I loved the humor in this write. Imagery; rhythm and rhyme are just fine. I didn't know what a 'quagga' was, so I googled it, and for others who also may not know, here's an external link to click on:

PS: That's quite a que of 'q's' you have in this write, well done, indeed.
