Going into the houses
of the wrongfully accused
torturing, burning, hanging
Killing in the name of their
Savior, claiming that their
beliefs were the only way
Viciously killed with drowning
and stoning, and any other
atrocious act, concievable
False accusations that the
witches were Satan worshippers
and cast spells of black magic
The bones of many innocents
lie in the ground of Salem;
Women, children and men
In the light of a full moon
their spirits dance away
free from persecution, at last

The witch trials were cruel and built on people's superstitions; as you well know. I have know a few people who told me they were witches. Thet were some of the nices ones to have around.
