I lost you today after all the years of suffering
The disease took you slowly and now I am lost
Without you here with me I do not want to go on
I am here at your grave missing you so
So much pain no one will ever know
Back in the days when your health was good
we did everything together life was as it should
I lost you a little everyday,as the sickness slowly took you away
Loving you was my reason to go on
Now that your gone I don't want to go on
We shared it all you and I
I was your girl,you were my guy
Your words will always stay on my mind
We'll be together till the end of time
Fly away home and wait for me
And together forever is what we'll be
My heart is heavy I miss you so
I stayed strong through it all for you though
Now I am crumbling lost and alone
No peace for my mind the pain never to atone
I wait each day to see you again
And when I die my life will begin
Until we are together again I send my love
And every-time I think of you
God will release yet another dove

A very touching tribute to capture the reader with true to life emotion. God accepts prayer to lift the narrator through this sense of loss, brings the reader close, wanting to touch the narrator and remind them; this is the circle of life...painful but assurance given the need to be strong and help life move forward.
