Sunrise, sunset
Only the time can tell
If the sun was rising up
Or if it slowly fell
Sunrise greets you in the morn
With so many different shades
From cool blues to warming reds
The colors never seem to fade
Sunset lures you in the eve
Into a well-known little trance
It's used in many kinds of art
And in voluptuous romance
The sun's the most imperfect beauty
Painted so quaintly and unique
If I knew the one who put it there
I'd tell them - simply magnifique.

Author notes
If I were to personally meet the one who created the sun I would tell them they have outdone themselves. Because I gaze upon its beauty as it lifts into the sky and as it slowly falls back down - so grand in all its glamor that it's the prettiest sight around. (My own opinion, of course.)
