They say I’m acting crazy
since you walked out on me
it all seems distant and hazy
wish they would all leave me be
They say I’m depressed and lazy
but that’s not what my eyes see
I see a flower in a field of sun
bending in the wind like a daisy
So now they tell me what to think
the difference between wrong and right
so medicated that I can’t blink
I can’t stand to see bright light
I got angry and trashed my place
emotions I couldn’t keep inside
I lost connection with the human race
I wanted off of this lousy ride
My pain showed upon pale face
as my heart was torn open wide
I wore leather instead of lace
wanted to be taken away by the tide
So now they tell me what to think
the difference between wrong and right
so medicated that I can’t blink
I can’t stand to see bright light

I liked the ending to this. I did not like the fact that there were no commas or periods in it. When there are no commas or periods, it doesn't give the reader a chance to pause or slow down at all. Thank you for entering my contest.
