Aubergine - one selected word ....... Strange, thought I was entering a contest with word prompt "aubergine" I wasn't, I haven't, but I have writ a poem. Send for the men with the white coats.

    It was far more than your choice vocabulary that appealed to me with this piece. There was a musical sounding alliteration, and a bit of wackiness, that was quirky and I liked that a lot. It brightened my spirits somewhat, and made me smile. Great job! So good to read your work again, it has been too long.

    I have sent for the men with the white coats, but not the ones you think. The ones I sent for also wear white ties and they dance ... so lovely to read you again. This is wonderful. I like the use of lavender in any write ...
