Tiny and Tank, are inseparable friends.
When one starts to break, the other one bends.
At times they have battled from opposite sides,
when one makes decisions, the other abides.
Tank is a talker, never going unheard.
Tiny a thinker, barely saying a word.
Tank speaks his mind, no fear and no doubt.
Tiny waits until he has figured things out.
Tank will react without thinking things through.
Tiny contemplates what’s the right thing to do.
Tank is the first to say, “Wow, this is cool.”
Tiny must consider if it breaks any rule.
Tank will pursue what he doesn’t understand.
Tiny only does what he’s carefully planned.
Tank is impatient and easy to distract.
Tiny is persistent only dealing in fact.
The two are best friends, but you can’t always tell.
They don’t always work together that well.
Each one is weak where the other is strong.
They have so much to gain if they’d just get along.
Though both seem to come from opposite extremes,
together they’re chasing magnificent dreams.
Tiny and Tank have one common thread,
they both are residing somewhere in my head.

this is great. I loved the alliteration as well as the rhyme and flow. Also great use of imagination. Thanks for entering.

Very, very nice! I love that your personified the two personalities! I think, though, Tank seems to be the closest thing to my own nature (I don't know if that's a bad thing or not o.o).
Anyway,, very good write. The lighthearted nature of the whole idea is the first I've seen submitted thus far - wonderful! I'm glad someone can see it in a jocular light.
Thank you, very much, for entering my contest!

Sandy, aren't you a part of the group "people with disabilities"? I think I've seen your name before... anyway, I am... parkinsons dx at age 33 (I'm 48 now) -- it has been my greatest blessing, giving me back my time, my perspective, and my faith. take care, feel free to check out more if you like rhyming stuff, that's all I do. Mostly true stories, lots of spititual stuff, some funny (at least I think so, but that could be questioned). I will check out your page shortly - take care - Kevin
