    This is stunning...

    It is simple yet so complex at the same time. It doesn't draw you in but it does explain what an artist is trying to do when he creates...like us! But with words. Wonderful!

    i think if you get rid of the gerunds & make it present tense, it will read with a better flow.
    like so;
