Can you hear it?
The faint beat of my heart,
I can, though i fear,
I will no more.
Countless doctors,
they can do what they wish.
I am indifferent to the ending.
Pain be in my body,
Yet peace in my heart,
Could such a thing make sense?
The thought of what awaits me,
In my next destination,
Submerges my concious mind,
But I know I must be strong.
For my family are here beside me...

Since you have captialized all the other "I's" I would for the one in line three as well.
There is too much punctuation here, you don't need to end every line with something.
A good piece though
