Death On A Deathbed

Can you hear it?
The faint beat of my heart,
I can, though i fear,
I will no more.

Countless doctors,
they can do what they wish.
I am indifferent to the ending.

Pain be in my body,
Yet peace in my heart,
Could such a thing make sense?

The thought of what awaits me,
In my next destination,
Submerges my concious mind,
But I know I must be strong.

For my family are here beside me...

Since you have captialized all the other "I's" I would for the one in line three as well.

There is too much punctuation here, you don't need to end every line with something.

    A good piece though
