The rapture of sweet lullabies,
crescendo’s in the night
Monotone it does begin,
but building with moons light
A single voice in solitude,
a woeful song of death
With every whimper cried aloud,
gasping for his breath
Yet the dark calls back to him,
to say he’s not alone
A solace gathers in his heart,
which changes now his tone
A myriad of voices call,
as there’s a struggle to survive
Lifted by the song of hope,
he grasps to stay alive
From the blackness help arrives,
to sooth grisly fears
As the chorus sounds to hail the deed,
he’s driven now to tears
For just when life seemed far away,
when all he had was lost
Faith crawled in on bended knee,
and nothing did it cost
At first the silvery beams do show,
the song that he will sing
Is the howl of joy and harmony,
that a friendly voice can bring
