The Sun.
It's so bright and warm.
It's blinding.
It's heat pierces through the glass.
Filling my body with light and warmth.
5:17 pm.
I walk around the empty house.
From the living room.
To the kitchen.
From the kitchen.
To the foyer.
It's so quiet.
I miss you.
5:18 pm.
I miss you.
5:19 pm.
I still miss you.
On the stairs, where you chased me.
I cowered in false fear,
I looked up- You were in my eyes.
You kissed me.
I kissed you back.
5:20 pm.
From the stairwell.
To the living room.
I see where you sat in the chair.
I see my friends.
I see us playing like rockstars.
I see us laugh.
You speak, I look at you and smile.
You look back to me, with your crooked grin.
I melt.
5:21 pm.
I miss you.
This is where you held me.
I was about to fall, you pulled me close-
we fell into the chair-
my head on your chest,
your arms surrounding me.
5:22 pm. 
The sun is melting into the distance.
A golden egg in a nest of dead trees.
I wish to hold it, I want that feeling in my hands.
That golden piercing light.
That star that brightens my heart.
Close enough to feel-
too distant to touch.
Because you are not here.
5:23 pm.
It melts.
I miss you.
I remember the love we made.
I smell your scent upon my body.
I feel your warmth in my heart.
I hear your words,
    "I love you."
5:24 pm.
From the living room.
To the porch.
The wind blows.
A chill travels upon my skin.
The sun is almost gone.
The feeling is fading.
But I'm still warm inside.
Alone, but warm.
5:25 pm.
From the porch.
To my room.
Your scent is everywhere.
It intoxicates me.
The bed where we made love-
I can still feel the heat from your body.
I remember the words you didn't speak when you kissed me.
  Again.
        And again.
                And again...
The sun is gone.
The light has faded and melted away.
But I'm still warm.
Even through the darkest days,
I will feel warmth always...
For you are my sun.
I feel your warmth everywhere.
