One day I finally knew
What I had to do, and set out
Through the vast forest,
Searching for my soul.
I hadn’t the foggiest idea
What it looked like,
What size or color it was,
Or where I might find it.
But I knew it had to be hidden
Out there - somewhere.
The pleasant singing of the birds,
The softly scented mossy earth,
The blue sky above the pines,
The streaming crystalline waterfall,
The chirping of the insects
Surrounding my lingering feet,
All foretold I would find
It within. In God’s pristine
Wilderness, I found my soul
Was within me, all along.

I was inspired to write this, after receiving the following poem written for me, by Soulwhispher, below. Thank you, John.
She who walks her own lost road
With words she weaves a tale
Like a once lost magic ship
In her life she tried to sail
Dreams walk within her words
That cast a loving spell
Where she will lead is not known
For only time will tell
