follow the light

follow the light

He lives for such meaningless endeavors

and stores up such useless treasures.

If only this time he found something to hold onto.

Maybe, this has worth. It could be something of value.

He only hopes that he isn't wasting his time.

For he does want to seek, but still questions if he

wants to find.

When investigating such beauty, his heart was battling his mind.

Could this be what I have been looking for?

[with a aura so majestic and bright]

I don't know if I'm wrong or if I'm right.

And a loud voice called, with confidence and deep conviction,

saying,

"Follow the light."

    Thank you

Thank you for taking time to enter my contest. This poem speaks volumes, saying to simply follow the light even though there are still questions. That's what faith is.

    Good luck in the contest!

THERE is a bit of intrigue in this poem the beauty
here is in the ambiguity near the end.
it is good to make the reader work and this poem does that in a magical way,

    Vague

It does leave room to contemplate what each person's 'light' is. I felt it a bit unfinished but what do i know!
