Dear Santa Letter

Dear santa i hope you're listening
i have a wish for you,
i sure hope you can fulfill it
it would make all my dreams come true.
What i wish upon you for this christmas
is probally never been asked before
but if you could grant this single wish
Of you for anything i'd never ask anymore.
My wish is something of a magical gift
and magic I know you must be
for all the smiles you put on children's face
must be magic as far as i can see.
Well here it is my wish is for you
while you fly across the sky
capture a beautiful star for me
as you so magically glide right on by.
You see my mother passed away several years ago
and of a star i am in dire need
for they say my mother lives among the stars
and i think she's too far for me to see.
Also if i could recieve a star and
point it oh so high toward the sky
maybe my mother could see it from heaven
and let me know she standing closely by.
just to know she is close to me
helps me a great indeed
to let her know i still love her
and i know she still loves me.

    This is excellent, sad that your mom passed. But at least you have a good mom. Some people don't. Good luck on getting your star. I really loved this write.

    I think im in love with it!

    i was like crying as i was reading it. its amazing.I love that you put a child in it. Children bring out the emotion out of everyone.you captured the innocence very well. it must be so hard for a child to lose a parent and im sure around the holidays they wish for there parents/parent back.it depicts real life while giving you a sense of innocence along with the faith of the christmas spirit.i love this poem!=)

    I almost cried. I know how it is to loose someone you are close to. I am just so thankful that I still have my mother. She and I are really hanks for the share!

    This is very touching... I'm sorry that you lost your mother. I don't know how hard that could be.

    A wish so simple, but at the same time very deep and meaningful.
