Within my heart there is a room,
a room I keep all to myself.
It's as lonely as a tomb,
with dust upon it's shelves,
and while it's but a hollow shell,
I fiercely guard this tomb of mine.
For every time I try to trust,
and open wide my secret room -
it seems my dreams are turned to dust.
So ashes fill my lonely tomb.

Like your poem, the way it reads etc. Don't care for the sentiment though. You made a comment on a Bukowski poem which is why I read your piece. No matter how rough his life was Bukowski was not a victim. You need to stop being a victim. Get some balls somewhere, feed your anger. Throw open that secret room, decorate it with red wall paper and loud music and fuck those who don't like it. There are a lot of people in this world and there are a few who will feel right at home in your red room. It is a numbers game. stop mopping and get busy.

Very good! Very True! I know exactly how you care feeling.. im tired of letting people in my heart and them breaking it to pieces.. and then right when i let someone else in, it gets broke once again... Its never easy... and people will always do that... You just gotta face the fact and dont let it get to you as much... It will keep making you stronger.. Keep up the great work!
