"Feast!, Feast! my fellow Romans!,
For Saturn hath bestowed good upon us wheel.
Drink unto his name!
Fill your stomachs,
once you've gathered all yields from the fields for the dark times ahead,
so we feast and we pray,
and we hope the he doth rise again,
to give us his warmth again and again."
"This pagan feast is not fitting,
does not bode well,
for those who wear the cross.
There's one and one god only,
and these barbarians spoil it all.
I DECLARE THIS DAY TO BE,
THE DAY CHRIST,
OUR SAVIOR ON THIS EARTH CAME TO BE!
LET ALL THOSE SURRENDER'D UNTO HIM FEAST IN HIS NAME!
FOR IN TIMES OF DARKNESS,
CHRIST'S NAME WILL NOT BE IN VAIN.
(While those barbarians now like suckers take the bait,
Soon, their monies will be in our plates.)"

this was quite an interesting poem you have here. I hardly know what too say about it. It is true that Christians chose a day that is not really the birthday of Jesus, but since christians make up such a majority of the population it kind of stuck.

Yah, I know but it kinda annoys me that proper credence is not given to these days.
