Lyrical

Your speech is lyrical,
(that's the word)

poetic, lovely, achingly sweet
Captivating all fortunate enough to listen
and making them cling to every syllable,
praying you won't stop

and then there is me

Blurting stumbled nonsense
just understandable, if lucky
and I want to know, how do you do it?

Author notes

I think I could have done more with this if it weren't for the line limit, I'll probablt edit later.

Giving speeches is an art form I do believe. I've never felt I was very good at them; at least not to larger grounds. I believe it is generally a self confidence factor, the more you have the more you just don't care if you are speaking to one person or a thousand I think I'll still to one I really liked this piece alot. It is relatable to all I believe because at some point we've all been faced with it. It's honest and written smoothly as well. Great job.
