Lost

I struggle with myself everyday
Pray or no pray
I try to be more…
More the lord’s child
I believe in him that’s all there is
I prayed today, I hope he heard

Sinner or saint I don’t know…
I wish I could find myself…
I’m lost when it comes to god’s path
Had millions try to help me
Never did, I get signs from him all the time
I try to keep them

Follow them if I can…
I don’t know maybe his not for me
I’m lost, not found
It’s ok I’m happy this way

Ok first off I just want to say this is an OLD poem like 5th or 6th grade old. Second off I'm changing well...I'm taking small steps at a time and honestly...I'm liking the new me...starting to anyways.

    Hey sweetie - yes, I have felt this way before but, unlike the others on your response page, I have drifted away from God and utterly reject anything to do with Him, not because I hate religion but because I am unable to believe anymore. However, I do believe in you and I miss you. Keep writing these thought-provoking ideas. Tony x

    I have felt very simalar to this. Until i realized, I was saved, my sins are washed from my body but. as my mother once told me as in your situation "You can't expect God to forgive you if you cant forgive yourself.

    i liked this poem
    its filled with true emotionts that everyone who read it could relate...i liked the part "i'm lost not found" the most...as i'm spritual and not religious i cant really say allot about the feelings there cause allot might not like it

    Yes I have

    I have definately felt this way babe, God is not just a book that you can open and understand automatically, nor is He just some far off diety that cares nothng for you. Think of God as an actual person who wants to be your friend. Talk toHim like that. Like he is your best friend in the world and before you knowit, He will be. Great poem loved every second of it sweet!
