[ New visions of winter in a trickle of snow, ]

New visions of winter in a trickle of snow,
The little, dewed branches upon every tree,
Shows passions alight in a theater aglow,
In a landscape that yearns for its beauty's decree.
What mania runs in a scene of delight!
What quagmire of feathers and fanciful limbs!
Oh, winds, do not induce the heaviness slight!
Embracing new snow, how it abashadely trims!
The darkness of solitude, the silent cold foot,
Behind the appearance of the haphazard dance,
Supports, still, the faeries and those who stay put,
In the alien world of the season's blind trance.
The jubilant wonder of a snow covered day,
Is enough to stave out all the heart's saddened grey.

    Beautiful

Hhaha. Its been snowing for two days where I live. I love snow it makes me feel happy, as you said.

I took this poem a bit comically because of the dramatic way you described the beauty of the snow. You brought across excitement, amazement, happiness.
This is a lovely poem so full of life
    Thanks for sharing

This is really nice. The images are full of good thoughts.

The darkness of solitude, the silent cold foot,
Behind the appearance of the haphazard dance,

These are my favorite lines. There's so much here.

As always, quite lovely and very articulate. You pain a most imaginative picture with something so simple.
    I love the last line,
The jubilant wonder of a snow covered day,
Is enough to stave out all the heart's saddened grey.
Really, thought the whole thing is so very beautifully and masterfully put together, I feel I could read it again and again. May be one of my favorites from you!
