The burning feeling,
Deep inside,
Eternal fire,
Soul reside.
Hearts on fire,
No extinquish,
As you admire,
No aspire,
Just the blaze.
Charring all your feelings,
Unmasking your true soul,
Breath that it is stealing,
Taking your heart whole.
It blazes on.
The harsh words,
Like timber,
Adding to the fire,
You break my heart,
Just like a match,
You've sinned a love ire.
It blazes on.
The heat keeps getting hotter,
No matter how much ice,
I can apply to the open wound,
Why must I pay the price?
A fireblanket called my skin,
Is slowly disenegrating,
Along with all the hope,
All the love is fading.
The blaze has taken over.
All is lost,
That ever was,
My heart is left alone,
My life is slowly burned down,
Left just flesh and bone.
I almost cannot belive,
That your unforgiving ways,
Could ever do that much destruction,
Could ever start a blaze.
