Have you ever been so deep in thought
That you just broke down in tears
All those battles you faced and fought
Seem like wasted years
You break through one brick wall
And soon enough theres another one
Then your too weak to even crawl
You start to think the world has won
What do you do when you see no light
Or when your too afraid to even look
You start to think what if this is the night
When you see the happy ending of this book
Well you know what I did?
I took a deep breath and stood up straight
Got brave and walked away from where I hid
I was no longer going to hide from my fate
I searched and searched til I was too tired
Still gettin a spec of light every now and then
I wouldn't stop til I found the happiness I desired
Not even caring of how or when
Everything in your life is worth nothing
Unless you work for what you want or get
There is always a meaning for something
Move on from the bad with no regrets
Even though you have walked this rocky trail
Don't ever lose sight of hope and love
Soon enough you will have a smooth sail
Because someone is always watching you from above

Beautiful piece of work here Mindie!! I love how you show your inner strength pulling through no matter how high the obstacle may be!
